Well to start the thread off - this is what I recieved. Maybe you'll add what you got as well....unless you're Muslims or Jews, in which case you'll probably just ignore this. :eek:o

- The box-set of all 176 episodes of Sir Jeremy Isaac's The World at War on DVD, a copy of Prison Diaries: Part Two by Jeffrey Archer and a good deal of Cadbury's chocolate from my mother.

- A copy of Mud, Blood and Poppycock by Gordon Corrigan, from my brother.

- A khaki fleece from Grandmother-in-Dartford.

- £10 from Grandmother-in-Bexleyheath.

- A digital camera and £200 of book vouchers from my auntie.

....and for the sake of fairness, and so as to assure you all that I'm not a ungrateful, miserly person, this is what I gave:

- (various) perfume and Belgian chocolates* for my mother.

- A lego space-shuttle for my brother (aged 28).

- Some lavender (in a box) and Belgian chocolates* for grandmother-in-Dartford.

- Two jars of novelty jam for grandmother-in-Bexleyheath.

* these gifts were purchased with the intention that I would be able to eat some of these myself.

First what I gave:

To my mother: A nice new yellow robe, and (with my sister) a new clock-radio-phone.
For my niece: Some educational stuff, learning to read books
For my father: LoTR: TTT DVD
For my sister: A nice pair of slippers
For my brother-in-law: X-box game (Max Payne 2)
Grandmother: A nice calendar book to keep track of dates/appointments

For myself:

2 books of the non-historical variety (Lair of Bones and Realm of the Ice Goddess)
One giant book of the world's myths/mythologies comes with a CD
The encyclopedia of WWII
Dilbert Calendar
Some gift cards
Candy
Clothes
and of course the good supply of computer games: Jedi Knight Academy, KOTOR, Call fo Duty, expansion pack to NWN (HotU), and expansion pack to AOW2 (Shadow Magic)

You know, most of the people here would like to know what the TGW team got done for Christmas

Nothing, obviously. Too busy wrapping and opening presents. :)

What I got: A four day trip to Malaysia. But I usually don't get anything anyway during Christmas. But I do get some cash on me birthday.

What I gave: Absolutely nothing. I don't believe in giving at Christmas because it's an obligation most of the time and not genuine. And I'm only wasting my parents' money anyway so what's the point? Haha cynical bastard.

Far more excited about Chinese New Year personally (sadly it's been 2 years, 3 soon, since I spent that in a Chinese city) where people exchange red packets full of cash for fun.

An original painting of the USS Tennesee, by an artist whose name I forget.

A miniature lighted lighthouse and christmas tree for my mother.
Two CDs, by Presidents of the USA, for my brother.
