Well to start the thread off - this is what I recieved. Maybe you'll add what you got as well....unless you're Muslims or Jews, in which case you'll probably just ignore this.
o
- The box-set of all 176 episodes of Sir Jeremy Isaac's The World at War on DVD, a copy of Prison Diaries: Part Two by Jeffrey Archer and a good deal of Cadbury's chocolate from my mother.
- A copy of Mud, Blood and Poppycock by Gordon Corrigan, from my brother.
- A khaki fleece from Grandmother-in-Dartford.
- £10 from Grandmother-in-Bexleyheath.
- A digital camera and £200 of book vouchers from my auntie.
....and for the sake of fairness, and so as to assure you all that I'm not a ungrateful, miserly person, this is what I gave:
- (various) perfume and Belgian chocolates* for my mother.
- A lego space-shuttle for my brother (aged 28).
- Some lavender (in a box) and Belgian chocolates* for grandmother-in-Dartford.
- Two jars of novelty jam for grandmother-in-Bexleyheath.
* these gifts were purchased with the intention that I would be able to eat some of these myself.
