Recently bought Crusader Kings Complete (with Deus Vult).

Saw some improvement patches here and there but would like to know, what do you recommend to install and in what order (links to this forums files would be appreciated too!)

Thanks ALOT! :)

Well first off you will want to apply the latest beta-patch. The one that is included in the CK Complete is not the latest one.

You can get the beta-patch here: http://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum...October-2008&p=8983876&viewfull=1#post8983876

Then you will want to apply a mod to enhance the experience. There are two major ones:

TASS

DVIP

Which one is best depends on personal taste. They are both great, so I would suggest you try them both.

Be aware that they are not compatible with each other. But what you can do, is after you have applied the beta patch, you make two copies of your CK folder. One is your basic CK Complete + beta-patch (always easy to return to if something goes wrong with a mod or something), then one where you install DVIP and one where you install TASS.

You don't need to reinstall CK as it does not write in the windows registry database, so you can make as many copies of the CK folder as you want.

Once you have those, you have most of what you need. There are some minor mods around, that deal with graphics or events or sounds,

I can strongly suggest DVIP, it fixes a lot of aspects of the game that are kind of broken, like independent duchies and counties constantly trying to pledge loyalty to any king with some prestige even if he is all the way across europe. I played on Mappa Regnorum recently, and while the new map is awesome, the mod doesn't fix some of those critical issues. I'm hoping for a merger between the two. :) Until then, DVIP.
I haven't tried TASS though, and that is on my list to try yet too.

That is fix is from the betapatch for DV. For all mods you are advised to use the latest beta, so all mods have that issue fixed.
