Is this something old? Or are they actually announcing something big?

Heard rumours of a VTM:Bloodlines 2. That'd be insane.
With Obsidian's track record (Alpha Protocol, KOTOR:2, New Vegas), and VTM:B's notorious issues, it'd probably be the glitchiest game in existence.

So this is waaay out there, but anyone remember this?

Color scheme on the site seems to match that trailer too. But far as I know Obsidian has nothing to do with Uber, so ???

The game would be so glitchy, if you played it without the day-one patch it would actually turn you into a Malkavian.

The Ides of March? We know what that means.

According to this article there's a new "great strategy title" to be announced (whether that's the classic "Grand Strategy" or just means a "big" RTS-styled game is not specified - German "groß" can mean both) that will be developed by Obsidian.

The article doesn't state though where this information comes from. I find it hard to believe that Obsidian will be developing a strategy-game - they only ever did RPGs, didn't they?

Nothing from PDS according to @Johan

Ides of March announcement? Obviously that means it's the Emperor Augustus expansion to EU: Rome... finally.

If it's Obsidian, a GSG (maybe ala CKII?) set in the Pillars of Eternity universe? Dunno if that world would big enough in scope though.

My guess is that Paradox is going to endorse Donald Trump

While initially buggy, Obsidian did way more with the Fallout 3 engine than Bethesda did. New Vegas is easily twice as good as fallout 3, maybe even three times better...

There's literally nothing fallout 3 does better than New Vegas.

Obsidian needs a go with the Skyrim engine so we can get a game like skyrim, but better.

New Vegas is the HoI III of the Gamebryo engine.

We now know the answers to this thread's title, so closing.
