I'm trying to modify a building style so that it contains houses that aren't 1x1 or 1x2 models. The easiest way of doing this I can think of is simply creating new models by merging some of the old ones together (e.g. something that's actually a 3x2 house, but looks like two 2x1's, a 1x1, and a tree). Is there a quick and efficient way of doing this that doesn't require fiddling with textures and all the other awkward bits of out-of-game 3D modelling?

In the asset editor, there's a button right next to the bulldozer where you can attach other asset buildings (can't remember it's name). Maybe you can use this method?
