Summary

When a Landless Character (including Adventurers) is Dynasty Head, the Dynasty does not generate Renown for Members with Title

Description

As in the Title: If the Head of a Dynasty is Landless, the Dynasty will generate no Renown for Member who are Rulers. It will still generate Renown for all other Sources, like "Living Members" or "King by Marriage" just not for the Members who are Rulers themselves. This happens both when the Player is the Landless Dynasty Head, and when the Head is AI.

In the first Screenshot you see the Situation at game Start, with the Head of the Jimena Dynasty being the King Garcia of Galicia. Renown is produced as expected. I then used a mod to dethrone them. His Son becomes the new King of Galicia, but Garcia stays HEad of the Jimena Dynasty. The Renown Sources disappear.

Steps to reproduce

Make a head of a Dynasty Landless. For example by conquering all their titles. Then check the Renown produced for the Dynasty.

You could also Start the Game as an Adventurer, found your own Dynasty and somehow place a Member of your Dynasty on a throne while staying as an Adventurer (and Head of Dynasty) yourself.

In the uploaded Save i used an Mod to dethrone King Garcia of Galicia, the Head of the Jimena Dynasty. But I noticed the initial Bug without Mods activated.

This is still an issue as of version 1.15.0.2 (Crown).

Uploading a savegame, in it the landed count in Ostfriesland is of my dynasty but I only get renown from an unlanded countess (probably in the same realm as the count) that is in a patrilineal marriage to a landed guy (who's from a different dynasty).

I am the dynasty head adventuring in India

Not running any mods, has verified my game files, latest update and running Linux

Might be irrelevant, but I found that if you play as adventurer, you don't get renowns as dukes. However if your relative that is not dynasty head, say brother went as an adventuer, you will have a duke renown added. I think it is because when dynasty head is adventurer, renowns from titles are disabled, but if they are a member, their duchy adventurer title still count.

Which is an Evidence, that the Devs should have added an Title Tier lower than Baron, for Landless Titles, like Adventurers or Admin Family Heads.

They probably wanted to prevent the Game from generating too much Renown for landless Titles, but this Issue could have been easily solved, by just adding a lower Title Tier than Baron, would also solve the Performance Issue, because this Titles don't really need Title History, but currently every single Adventurer and Admin Family Head Title has an Title History, where Barons don't have Title History, but they are actual Rulers and Admin Family Head and Adventurers are not really Rulers.
