I would assume with RtP, and assuming its not a bug, but does anyone know for sure because it feels weird for a ecumenical Christian faith to have giant trait as a virtue.
Given that the devs added a new tradition just for Armenia culture I don't think it should have been that hard to add a new tenet for them as well.I believe they gave this because else the ai would just convert the faith out of existence.
Strong believers isn't strong enough. The real problem is ai always wanting to convert counties not of their faith. Players might have this problem too.Given that the devs added a new tradition just for Armenia culture I don't think it should have been that hard to add a new tenet for them as well.
I was talking about Indomitable Azatani, Armenian has had Strong Believers since traditions were introduced with Royal Court.Strong believers isn't strong enough.
Yeah, I get that but this feels like another "solve one problem, cause another" that seems to plague CK3's development. Cthonic Redoubts just generally feels in an ecumenical Christian faith even beyond giant being a virtue and a stronger resist conversion tenet would probably be good for the game generally that way the devs don't have to stick weird tenets on faiths where they don't really fit.The real problem is ai always wanting to convert counties not of their faith.
The wiki doesn't say indomitable Azatani has any affect on conversion resistance. Are you suggesting adding a conversion resistance modifier to this tradition? That seems as much of a band aid solution as giving the Cthonic Redoubts.I was talking about Indomitable Azatani, Armenian has had Strong Believers since traditions were introduced with Royal Court.

No, I'm saying instead of giving Apostolic Cthonic Redoubts, the devs should have added a new tenet, not tradition, to the game that generally increases conversion resistance instead of putting an incredibly ill-fitting tenet on Apostolic. This would have the benefits of not making Apostolic kind of weird now while also giving them something to use across the rest of the map if they needed it.Are you suggesting adding a conversion resistance modifier to this tradition? Well, the devs could always just make strong believers grant better conversion resistance. Seems like the other easy option would just be make a generic version of Redoubts that offers strong conversion restistance, say 60%, with some defensive advantage and increased levies, though not as a strong as Redoubts since isn't tied to terrain. What would you suggest?
Communal identity be an option that is in the game currently that would make sense, though it is a pretty weak tenet to have.Well, the devs could always just make strong believers grant better conversion resistance. Which is funny because Apostolic already has Communal Identity but I agree it would be a good fit to have some conversion resistance.Communal identity be an option that is in the game currently that would make sense, though it is a pretty weak tenet to have.
oh. I didn't remember that it did. Maybe consider buffing communal identity resistance instead of a new tenet.Which is funny because Apostolic already has Communal Identity but I agree it would be a good fit to have some conversion resistance.
I think Aniconism faiths should probably look at each other as astray instead of hostile. Similar to how the gnostic tenet works. Either that or give the faiths considered proto Protestant a special tenet that acts like the ecumenical tenet. It was added either with RtP or the patch before it, and it was based on a request I made to one of the Devs a while before that. I suggested Chthonic Redoubts because (giant aside, which is more about the basques) the tenet isn't a bad fit for the Armenians. It was a replacement for Aniconism, which they'd had since launch but made no sense thematically because the Armenians weren't Aniconist.
