This AAR, about my last game, will be more serious than the Lithuanian one. The game itself was not very serious, as you'll see later.
Verdun, France. 1916
The first world war is raiging. A young soldier, 26 years old, hides in the trenches from the enermy bullets wining over his head. The man is Charles de Gaulle, 2nd Luetaniant in the French army under colonel Henrie-Philippe Petain. The both men looked at each other with the fear in their faces. The germans were comming. The 60 year old Petain shouted at his men to fire back, but they were hopless. German bullets hit many of Charles friends, killing most of them, but he when the fireing was over Charles was still breathing.
A german soldier pulled him up on his feets, shouting something at his face. He did not know a lot of germany, but this one Petain had taught him. Kriegsgefangene. Prisoner of war.
