PDS announcements are usually teased some months before the actual announcement, e.g. Stellaris had weekly teasers by the devs for months before they actually announced it.

Gamescom next month is quite a big event, but I wouldn' hold my breath for any big announcements.

They have stated since HOI4 and Stellaris that they are going to handle new game announcements differently from now on, though. That is, they will only announce when the game is pretty close to release. That probably leaves less of a window to tease the announcement and less ability to time it around events.

So I'd say there's little point speculating. But when they do make an announcement (and we know that there are unannounced titles in the works) it will be only a short wait for the game.

I except we'll hear more next month.

If they're smart they'll be waiting for the fallout of the price hikes, dlc spam and low quality/quantity content releases to settle down, ideally fixing the most crucial issues of their current titles (AI) and releasing high quality dlcs in the meantime to prove they haven't yet lost their mojo. Under these premises I expect nothing until right before PdoxCon next year.

Could you separate the Sultanate of Oman and the Imamate of Oman?
By the way I was the first to demand a rework of Arabia and its states-provinces-troop models.

This should be in the EU4 development diary??o_O
