Where are the MP brigades?

Can't seem to find the techs that enable MP brigades. What am I missing?

Land Doctrine tab.
Elastic Defense or Static Defense. You will also need Specialized Units from the Infantry Tab.

That is only true for the Arsenal of Democracy version of IC.

In Arm, GAR units already have them attached as their suppression is at 17.

So they do not exist in IC with Arma? That certainly explains why I can't find them. So the threads indicating militia plus MP is the way to go does not apply?

Correct, if you are using ARM.

No. Either Mountain (3/ last got 5 sup) with Armoured cars (+ 1) or cavalry (2 sup) with ACs are the way to go.
Both are still woefully inadequat though. I suggest taking the short term red numbers in TC and build and strategically deploy reall garrison (15-21 sup) since in IC days this is way more effective.
