I've been told there are three versions of DH available in the launcher, full (DH in all it's glory), light (some features removed) and core (basically Armageddon 1.3). Now, I've downloaded some mods for arma that I want to play with DH (don't want to install ARMA all over again just for one mod), but they don't work with light, and I don't have the ability to choose core as it doesn't show up in the list. Was this version of DH cut out?

Better go with new arma install for the mod. DH has exe changes in many areas so the mod will not work as it shud in DH.

Its shud be easy to port them to DH but it will probally need some rebalansing.

Edit. but if you wanna really try. make a new forlder for mod folder. called mod what ever and extract the mod files there. then the laucher will see a new mod and you can try if it works.

mod files overwhite core files.

you load core when you select "none" mod.
alternatively when you want to use armageddon mods just place them in the mod folder of darkest hour "Darkest Hour\Mods" and they will be used on top of core.
DOn't forget to follow the necessary steps in the "Darkest Hour\Modding documentation\Guide to Darkest Hour.pdf" on how to convert the armageddon mods to darkest hour. It's simple and quick, but it needs to be done :)
