The details escape my memory rn, but isn't there a \game\events\bookmarks subfolder with relevant event files? I've looked at them myself some time ago, iirc they are coded to trigger for characters with certain IDs (so it should be possible to mod that), but don't quote me on this.

The events will occur naturally.

Matilda will start out betrothed to her ugly, hunchbacked stepbrother. An event will allow you to do whatever you want with the marriage. Some time later, a women will appear that will teach you about witchcraft, allowing you to become a witch as well.

Robert will get an event to gain claims on parts of Italy, and you choose how much you want. Later on, a monk will appear pretending to be the rightful emperor. This can trigger a war with Byzantines for either an entire kingdom or just some coastal counties.

Yahya should get an even right away to allow him to fight Cordoba.

Vratislav will get an event soon after starting on what to do with his vile brother and archbishop. Later on, you can either get a claim on the other west slavic duchies or get a weak hook on the emperor.

If he finds out. Or if she has been caught sleeping out of marriage.

The big problem with secrets is that every secret gets uncovered in ck3 ... wonder why they called them secrets in the first place. Landless guys travelling past your castle instantly know it, a spymaster on the other side of the planet finds it when he's looking for secrets in your lieges court etc. If those things don't trigger it, a badly written event will. Like that one Welsh guy who slept with a beautiful girl in the Himalaya .... 9 months later she will end up on his doorstep in Wales.

There is a WAY too common travel event that bypasses any kind of secret keeping Intrigue ability and just blurts out a random secret from the local ruler...
A few things the even should have. Your intrigue level, your spymaster’s intrigue level, your spymaster’s opinion of you, and how strong of a hook the revealed secret would give. These should figure into whether the event fire and what secret is revealed.

And how old the secret is.
People would be hard pressed to definitively prove I unalived someone in complete secrecy 30 years later.
Even if someone I worked with blabs, it be my word against theirs.
