I'm sure this will all change for us once we get our hands on the game and some practical playing experience but:

Which aspect of the game interests you the most, from what you've seen/read/heard? I think for me it's the legal system; that screenie with loads of different laws really got my mind going. The different options would end up with some intersting results in play, especially when considering the fact that other dynasties would be playing differently to you. Can just see myself yelling at the screen "No! Don't switch to primogeniture! Oh for crying out loud that ruins everything..." :)

What does everyone else think?

lol for me its probably the Military system and Economy, dont ask me why but I just have a good fealing about them two, also about how the Dynasties power and influance grows over time or shrinks pending on how well you manage every thing

1. Plotting, scheming, intriguing... (;))
2. Changing history and creating MY empire where there wasn't one before

Difficult to say one specific thing, but the era, recreating history and LEARNING new things is high up.:)

The whole idea of a game based on feudalism rather than just warfare appeals. So does the thought of a more detailed map of Europe than what we have been used to in EU.

I think everything in the game appears to be simply amazing, as far as I can tell. But my favourites would be the family stuff, and of course keeping my disloyal nobles in check. :D

For me it'll be the diplomacy and domestic management. I can't wait to learn about the relationships between lords and their vassals, kings and their subjects, dukes and their barons, and all that!

For me its the whole idea of playing a family and not a state. The possibility of having lands as a vasal of two kings like france and the HRE and suddenly both start a war against each other and you have the "honor" to decide which lord you will follow. What will you do? Stay neutral, be one sided on the Staufer side, loose all your lands and...fall back to a small province that you inherited years ago somewhere in spain. Thats what I´m most interested in...can´t wait for this game, but have to. :( ... :D

I follow along these lines.. and that you don't have to be the king.. you can be one of the vassals such as a baron (I think). Magna Carta eh?

Definitely management of dynasty. ;)

That hadn't occured to me, actually; until now I've still been thinking in terms of land and a "nation" whenever I think of myself as a player in the game. Thanks your Grace, that's been a big help :)

The combination of RPG and strategy. Developing an interesting dynasty as well as the more traditional grasp for power.

... and everything else :D
