Which game (With any mod) has the most countries?

Hey guys,

I was wondering which Paradox game with any mod has the most countries in it; I am currently thinking either:
  • Victoria 2 with PDM: That must have thousands, because every flag is kind of a new country, although do not let the opinion of every flag being a new country affect your opinion.
  • EU3 with Steppe Wolf: That has a lot and a very long time period.
  • Darkest Hour with Kaiserreich: I have not even seen this one but I have heard great things and it being Ahistorical it might have lots.

Considering you could theoretically make a mod that has 100,000 provinces and each one has 100 countries tied to it...
 
I remember HoI2 with Iron Cross gives you the chance to play as micro-states like Andorra and the Vatican. In most versions of HoI2, the smallest country represented was Luxembourg, or maybe Tannu Tuva.

The original Victoria with the VIP mod gave a lot of new countries, especially in Africa.

Kaiserreich has a lot of possibilities, but I'm not sure if I'd say they have more than HoI2.
 
Crusader Kings 2 hands down.
You can have about as many independent countries as you have provinces, times four.
 
I am working on one where it is done by individual counties. EG uk has close to 80 counties (if not more) and they are all vassals of London.
 
Damn, I really thought YES! Crusader Kings, 1000s of nations!

But I found out it is lacking in variety I know that there is a mod for Africa and Asia I was like Woo! Perfect! But then... No America! D: If there is any mod for America I would really like it :(

there are a few american continent mods
1 that i know is out that just puts all the euro-asian-african countries in the americans and another which i don't think is out and haven't heard anything about it in a while that's supposed to let you play as any country in pre columbian america
and there are a few mods that add viking discovered canada but that's not exactly the whole continent

there's also the native american based dlc but it's not what you think :)

...more then that im not sure if it's a good idea honestly to add the americans since well you'll see in 5 seconds in 1066 the catholic crusade for mexico and the islamic jihad for canada
ok yeah both won't probably happen in the vanilla game but i'd still rather not see any kind of interaction in the vanilla game between the native americans and europeans/muslims before either discoveres the other

LOL, Non-Included List, that shows how many nations they have so many that they publish NON-included instead of Included xD! I'm sure someone will make a mod adding those nations though :D.

Also about the American ones, I really hope the one adding America is published soon, may I have the link?
 
Sorry my mod is for EU3, and I am working like a mad man to get a stable version.

So far
England - 47 individual provinces/countries (depending on when you start)
Scotland - 31 individual provinces/countries
Wales - 9 individual provinces/countries
Ireland - 33 individual provinces/countries
Portugal - 18 individual provinces/countries

That alone has caused my game to be sluggish at best, so working on it slowly to get this going properly.
