I'm playing my first game without any mod but when I'm done I would like to try one. Which mod would you suggest?

If I install a mod, like Imperium, can I still go back and play the vanilla game if I delete the contents of the map cache folder? Or will the mods make changes to other folders as well?

It's a bit unfinished right now, I would suggest the Balkans mod for a more "complete" experience. o

One last nagging question: I assume you can install more than one mod, and switch between them via the launcher? If yes, I assume it is also recommended to delete the map cache folder before switching?

Yep, you can have as many mods as you wish in your mod folder. And you only have to delete map cache if you switch between map mods.
