I would like some advice in choosing a mod, mainly beween TAS and DVIP.

Why don't you try them both out??
Just copy a clean install of DV (+ beta patch) to another folder, and then apply DVIP to one copy and TASS to another. It will be easier for you to decide for yourself which is best.
DVIP is closer to the vanilla setup, TASS includes new traits and events.

BTW, I remember there was a mod called "vampiric-mod" or something like that, it was quite fun. But all the files I ever had, I lost them all (external hard drive crashed), and, as I was away from CK for about a year, I cannot find this mod now. Does anyone (the creator maybe? I don't rememebr him) can show me where it is and if there is any update?
