I see a bunch of videos on YouTube (including on this channel https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCPJYmt0Qe8_-vXdQ58UsAFQ ) showing how to produce really good looking interchanges. Does anyone have a list of what mods I should install (and anything else I should do in-game such as which map to play on or which theme to use) to make interchanges as good as the ones I see in these videos?

I have heard of terms like "traffic manager" and "marking tool" and "controllers" and things but its confusing as to exactly what I want to install.

I own Mass Transit and After Dark DLCs only so far.

There are a ton of workshop items you can use. It just depends on what you want to do.

as for interchanges, there are a ton of them too. I like Tomboh's interchanges back during release. Check they are still compatible.

MaxFX has some good ones also.

You may want to watch a couple videos on using the map editor plus some anarchy mods that let you bend the rules of the roads.

One of my frustrations is choosing between mods and assets... there are so many to choose from! I know I need to upgrade to an i7, but the prices are crazy! The game is already taking about 25 to 30 minutes to load the game. And with the new Airport DLC that I've purchased and installed, my PC's poor i5 is taking a beating!

The intersection marking tool has become a *must* in improving intersections. Also, Moveit! But how do I avoid stretching the intersection to the extent where I get the ugly bare terrain that shows through? Any suggestions?

You must have a ton of workshop. What is your page file set to currently? If it's on auto managed, then that is likely why it is taking so long. You may need to manually set it, so it doesn't try to auto size constantly. As that is usually the cause of long load times.

The Page File was something I changed a long time ago. It's currently set at 44753 MB. I know that's huge, but I have the hard drive space to burn, and this is a dual-use machine (I use SPSS, and sometimes running correlations and other statistical analyses can be memory taxing).

I use LSM (the one that's the temp fix), but I need to go through and get rid of a few things. The hardest part for me is those assets that we all have that we download to use "some time" and "somewhere" but never do. But then, we always hate to get rid of them.
