Which Version of CK2 should I run to get CK2+ to work?

As above, just downloaded the newest version of CK2+.

Not sure which version of CK2+ to run, the game keeps crashing when I load it up.

I'm not running any other mods and I have

Charlemagne
Horse Lords
Sword of Islam
Sons of Abraham
Old Gods
Legacy of Rome
Reaper's Due
Sunset Invasion
The Republic
Way of Life

Wtf am I doing wrong here?

First, welcome to the forums

Hmm, okay DLCs should not be the problem, as CK2+ works perfectly with or without them.
What do you mean by version then? I am using the latest stable version of CK2 and the latest version of CK2+ (succession crisis) together. Obviousely you can't use an older version of the base game, but that's not what you meant, right?

Well it seems my problem is that the old Mods won't come off the start menu so I don't think it's y'alls fault

Any idea how to get the old mods off the start menu? (I'm completely unsubscribed from all and even deleted CK2+ from the mod folder and deleted the mod folder itself)

Hmm... pretty strange. If unsubscribing and deleting does not work, I can't help but feel something is wrong with your installation?
Maybe completely uninstall CK2 and delete everything related to it, then reinstall? I know this isn't really helpful, but sometimes it solves problems where no immediate cause can be identified...

Andrew T over in the CK2 Tech issues forums let me know how to fix it.

Essentially have to clean delete all CK2 files (in both SteamApps and My Documents from Paradox) to get it off. Trying it now.
