I want to buy a WLAN Router/DSL modem with 4 LAN ports to use with Win XP. Can someone recommend me a product that works good for online gaming EU2? The Linksys WRT54G seems to be very popular, is that a good router?
Thanks!
Thanks!

I'm using a Netgear RP-614 v2. Never had a problem with it. 4-ports. Easy to use.

That is the router I am using, and I never have trouble, even when my step-son is using the wireless part of it to play Battlefield 2 at the same time as I am using the LAN to connect in for EU2. That's pretty hefty load being split up and routed efficiently without any lag!L'effaceur said:I want to buy a WLAN Router/DSL modem with 4 LAN ports to use with Win XP. "Ask HolisticGod which router HE is using.
Then DON'T BUY IT!!!!"
Amen to that. If I weren't afraid of losing EU II MP altogether, I'd replace it.
How? When? and Where?Absolut said:Yep, Ozzeh helped me![]()

It'd be nice to finally stop unpluggin my router and connecting my PC directly to my ADSL modem every time I play MP.. well.. now it's not everyday (sadly), but it's a pain anyway..
Yeah, I have to recheck the model... cause I'm not sure if that's exactly the one.. I'm at the office anyway.. we can agree a moment, for you to help meAbsolut said:You have D-link right?
