The old 'White Map' problem is back

When in 'terrain' mapmode, colors get all 'withened', as if overexposed.

I had this problem since 2012 ; until now there was a replacement pdxmap.lua file available (mentionned in the FAQ), that allowed to 'normalize' the graphics.
(I had to manually relplace it after each update).

But it doesn't work anymore with the Rajas of India extended map (not adapted).
I searched the Tech Forum as I could, but couldn't find a new replacement pdxmap.lua file...

Is it here somewhere?... Thank you in advance!

Edit: this is an old picture, but same problem :

You are the first report of this since back then. Is it not just the gamma settings?

Please post a dxdiag.txt (you can delete everything after the end of the "Sound devices" section for brevity) and your Documents/CK2/settings.txt. Zip up your whole Documents/CK2/logs/ directory and attach or link that here too please.

Thank you for your reply.
This is my DxDiag.

Settings.txt and logs are attached.

Don't know if it helps, but you should start by updating your graphic drivers. The ones you have are really old (1/30/2009 09:12:00)

Indeed, here is the current one for you http://www.geforce.com/drivers/results/57493

Unsure about this ; it's a GeForce Go 7300, said to be specifically designed for Laptops. My laptop is quite old, too (2007) !

I understand that my problem is not common.

Anyone knows how the previous fix was made? (the one I mentioned in the first post)

No, you're right, you have the latest and last driver for that old chipset - I missed the "Go" part.

We don't have an updated version of that .lua file, as I noted you're the first person to report this issue in a long time, certainly since RoI. I can ask backstage for a new one to be generated again, unless you were just about to update your machine?

Also, can you verify you still get this problem both with and without that changed pdxmap.lua file?

Thank you, really, for your time.

The 'fixed' pdxmap.lua file used to work. Now it still shows the 'right' colors, but the graphics are totally misplaced, as if that layer was too small for the map: i.e ocean over France, etc.

Look, I'm not willing to waste everyone's time if I'm the only one to report this problem.
Honestly, it's not game-breaking, nor really annoying, since I mostly use the 'independant states' view.
... and my machine is so old.

Thanks a lot for your attention anyway.

If someone can generate a fixed pdxmap, that's good, but if not, it's OK.
