Realising from Johan's CK young monarch's heir_to_be picture just what in-breeding has done for that poor dope and his (cough) lovely (nose grows by 2 km) bride, well...

How about instead of AArs we make a "family tree" or "famtree" in which we go about seeing our heirs achieveing their predestined characteristics (that we will have set for them to achieve all along)

Imagine...
"longest nose category goes to..."
"biggest feminine moustache goes to..."

and my all time favorite...

Broken mirrors award (insert power here)

so, how about it?

I like it! :D

*notes to oneself that we are messed up in the head*

And leave all this ugliness in-house?

NO, it must be spread!

cool,

due to the fact that royal genes sometimes were crossed and not re-freshed like in normal evolution, there should be some mutant - superpower kings in CK,

can you imagine that the house of Burgundy has a duke that can radiate the enemy army from a kilometer distance,

cool, awesome !

so I add a new feature = mutant powers for the kings! ;) :) :D

Are those... magnetic... mutant powers?;)

Margaret Maultasch and whoever she mates with... :p

Just the thought of all these ugly people makes me shiver..

If you thought the Bene Gesserit breeding program producing the Kwisatz Haderach, the universe's superbeing was impressive, then just wait 'til you see what I can produce with those ugly bleeders I've seen in the screenies.

And when the universe's most minging child grows up, I'm going to force the King of France to marry it! :)

I wonder if there's a hidden danger against interbreeding here - the more you intermarry the uglier your family get, and the uglier your family, the more difficult it could be to marry them off... that would be fun!

However come to think of it, in the tradition of arranged marriages looks may not have played such a big part... until the wedding night after all. Just ask Anne of Cleves...

Ugliness might not be the only problem. They could "gain" some very bad characteristics/attributes (or whatever they are called in CK) which means retarded offspring that isn't able to rule meaningfully (low stats) and you lose the game when your last heir is deposed by revolting vassals.
