Makes no sense. Their children don't even inherit the city when they die, so it's just clogging up the game with pointless characters and slowing it down. Unless I'm missing something?
 
I would like to know this as well. Having so many lowborn pagan priests and mayors having kids makes the game chug way earlier than it does in vanilla
 
I like it generally when i need someone to take over a baron or a lot of land i look at heirs to city that way i get a free guy without prestige or piety lost and not have to worry about making a republic
 
This doesn't happen in CK2, it happens in CK2+.

I think you're wrong about that. Just checked a vanilla save, in fact. There's nothing in the mod which marries off mayors--whatever happens is just as in vanilla.
