I want an option when I join a diplomatic play to be able to demand more than a single goal for the negotiation. It is akward that you can only demand just one goal... in real life there were plenty of cases where third parties join for more than a single goal, name states, rights, etc.

Please fix this.

Half of wars escalate into world wars already, letting players and AI countries do this would turn every war into a world war.

TBF the reason every war becomes a world war is because every country fights that way once they decide to join, independent of whatever the 'official' war goals are.

On the original topic: This is the awkward result of war goals being something that only the primary participants get to 'buy' using their diplomatic maneuvers as currency. You'd think that once one or more GPs get involved, they'd make the war be all about them. Also the fact that war goals are set in stone once the DP ends. (The outcomes of WWI weren't set by Serbia in 1914, for instance)

Civil wars are the worst case since no goals outside the specific country can be added, so there's no real incentive for almost anyone to get involved.

Yes, If I will fight like a world war I want more than a single goal.

Also GP should be able to use their maneuvers points, also Mayor Powers, and like EU4 perhaps being the leader of the conflict, in the case of WW1 Neither Serbia nor Austria were the leaders of their respective faction, so historically the system can be changed.

Diplomatic Plays is a very nice mechanic underdeveloped by this game, it has many paths and deeps to get. We can have a true Diplo debating and all.
