I've tried all the methods that come out of the search, but I can't install it. I'll attach the log file and the capture of the installation failure. Please tell me how to fix it

Where are you trying to install it from? And what game are you trying to play?

Steam / dowser.exe / launcher-installer-windows_2024.13.msi / paradox-launcher-installer-2024_11.msi
all of
These are files. Where are you getting the files from i.e. which website? Can you provide a link?

stellaris / Hoi4

what link?

I press the game execution button on Steam, an error occurs when it is automatically installed, and it is the same even I download and install the launcher installation program directly from the Paradox website

It's the same I run the launcher installation program directly in the game installation folder

There are a lot of technical solutions in that sub-forum -- I'd do a search in there and see if you can find someone with a similar problem.

Please try this:

- uninstall Paradox Launcher v2 from the Windows "Apps and features" utility, if still present.

Delete the following folders if still present:

- C:/users/{userName}/AppData/Local/Programs/Paradox Interactive/
- C:/users/{userName}/AppData/Local/Paradox Interactive/
- C:/users/{userName}/AppData/Roaming/Paradox Interactive/launcher-v2/
To see the AppData folder you'll need to enable View Hidden Items in File Explorer.

- exit the Steam app entirely
- run steam.exe as the Windows Admin user

- run the game from the PLAY button in Steam

IF that doesn't help, in this folder are some .log files:
C:/users/{userName}/AppData/Local/Paradox Interactive/launcher-v2/
Please attach them here.
To see the AppData folder you'll need to enable View Hidden Items in File Explorer.

Note that you can run stellaris.exe directly from File Explorer, which bypasses the launcher.

I think Andrew means to post the log file after trying the steps laid out in his post, if they don't work.

I already tried everything and it didn't work, so I attached it to the text.
So you tried everything in Post #8, in that order, prior to starting this thread?

The 1603/1605 errors we see there are typically a previous other installation stuck, or a problem in the Windows update/install processes.

If you see msiexec OR Paradox Launcher running in Task manager-processes, kill it and try this launcher install again please.

If still no good, do you see Paradox Launcher v2 in the Windows Control Panel to uninstall? If so does it uninstall cleanly, or get an error doing that? You can use this MS tool to clear the stuck install/uninstall:

THEN Please try the clean launcher reinstall again.

Thank you for your help, but nothing can solve it, I think the only way is to format it later

Make a new Windows user on this machine and try it under that. Any better?
