Why does game end(1792)on Campain Scenario

Game ended in 1793,on Campaign Scenario.It says choose Victory conditions:# of Provinces for Victory,Leading score
at 1792,mission victory.I have 40hrs in this game playing Portugal,and it takes a long time to build up everything(economy,military imp.etc.)I Want to keep playing.Anyone else having this problem?? Or even Care??Any reply would be greatful.

The end year, 1792, is hard coded into the game.


The whole point is to play that time period, thus it ends then.

It is how the game is made. Game lasts from 1492 to the end of 1792, 300 years of game play.

You could 'turn back' time 100 years or so in the save file, but I really don't see the point. Start a new game instead with a different country.
