Why does your game still crash on 5 speed?

Description​

The game keeps crashing on 5 speed. I have disabled steam cloud sync, wiped all files of all kinds (from the documents, from the steam cloud saves, uninstalled an reinstalled the game numerous times), screamed at the skies, and it still doesn't work

in addition to the game being absolutely insufferable and unplayable, the crash log always fails to upload, smh wtf did you guys do?

btw the game has been in this broken ass, dysfunctional state for several months now and I even disabled my firewall

Hello there! Thank you for the report. I've added a report to our database but I wasn't able to reproduce it myself, we also recently released 1.9.1 update, would you kindly check if the game crashes on 1.9.1 version as well ?

This may just be confirmation bias on my part, but most instances of crashing I've noticed when browsing the bug forum have been with Intel 12th or 13th generation CPUs. It's a long shot, but have you tried disabling the small cores in the Bios and testing the game?

Ngl, I don't feel like doing that as it's not something I should have to do and I've spent too much time on this already and I am not a paid bugtester. I'd suggest the paradox devs to try this out on their end and run the game on a 12th and 13th gen CPU, and if turns out that it is the issue, then it should be made compatible with these later generation cores as it makes no sense for a player to have to limit their PCs functionality to play the game. Another theory I have is incompatibility with something in Windows 11, but I feel like there are plenty of people playing on Windows 11 just fine, so who knows.

Fair enough, I just wanted to put the idea out there. It probably is a combination of factors since as you said it works just fine on windows 11 for many people, it does for me, and the same is probably true for Intel 12th and 13th generation CPUs.
