Hello all,
I really like the graphics and the animations of the game but there is something that is bothering me: every space is so very bright, including just-dug tunnels! Since the settlement is underground, it is supposed to be a bit darker, is it not? Furthermore, since everything is so bright, placing torches and braces doesn't add anything to light, like in the example below (I took it from the "screenshots" thread):
My question/proposal is: why don't you add more "dynamic" lights? I.e. make everything darker and make the effect of torches and bracers more noticeable.
In this way we would have the deep mining tunnels that are generally dark and scaring, and the main living area that is brightly lit by the bracers we have placed. We could then "personalize" lighting depending on how many light sources we place and where.
I remember how this kind of system was really great in Dungeon Keeper (the screenshot is not really good but the people who played DK will get the idea):
What do other players think? Regards!
