Why is 1.05 so damn big!!?

I have a 56k modem with poor connection, and because of it takes very long to download 1.05. I could download 1.04 since it had good size, but i can't download 1.05 because i don't wanna keep my internet occupied the whole day.Could someone tell
me why 1.05 is so big and is 1.06 gonna be smaller?

Patches usually get bigger and bigger, since you only need the latest patch, it must contain all the changes from the previous patchs. In addition Paradox does not just fix bugs, but it adds features as well.

My suggestion is to get a download manager that is capable of resuming download if it gets cut off, or you must shutdown your system.

Bigger and bigger files is the trend, so finding the best way around things like this now will make your life easier in the future.

I tried with Getright, but it does not load it(1.05) for some reason.Do you know what the problem is or can you recommend another download manager?

I am on 3meg cable modem so I do not use DL managers, so I cannot recommend one over another, Sorry.

Ask in the OT forum and you will get lots of advice.
