Is there anyway to change the resolution in the game? I have a widescreen monitor that runs 1680x1050 native resolution and CK looks kind of flat and stretched out.

I know some games don't but you can put in some commands into the start up icon to sort of force them into a widescreen resolution.

Thanks

In DV you can -- there is a settings text file where you can put in your resolution.

And i just so happen to use the resolution you are requesting.....

Dont be fooled by the intro screens and setup screens not being in the correct resolution..... the main game will resize properly.

I just changed the resolution in settings.txt and I'm quite fregtened, everything seems quite small on 25.5" LCD with 1600 x 1200...

Edit: Well, I got used to it. Frankly it is easier to play the CK at a higher resolution than Rome...

Just tried this and put in the resolution of my screen in the .txt. There is only one problem, the screen where you appoint you marshal, spymaster etc. is all jumbled and unusable. Howq to fix this?

Hah... I did this today and I was all "the portraits and shields look skinny". But that's the right way!

All this time I had been playing with fat portraits and fat shields!!
