I recently got a free 1680 x 1050 display, and the streched victoria looks very stupid. Does somebody know a good hack or something? I tried that Greschanger thingy and the game crashes when i try to load a save or start a new campaign. I put the new res in the settings file too.

The best solution is to switch your display settings to maintain aspect ratio. Just right click on your desktop and open your nividia/ati settings, search for display settings and aspect ratio. The black borders are not very beautiful, but better than the weird stretched graphics.

There is no working hack as far as i know.
