I tried to show my interest for helping both here and in the Brink of War-mod. Unfortunately, both mods seem to be very inactive.
In any case, I set up a wiki that can be used for both this mod and BoW. In the end, the work for this kind of mod is one big part research, where we should help sharing the information found, and one part coding - which I also have a solution to:
In software coding, the code is stored in a file repository or version control system such as CVS or Subversion. I can set up a Subversion repository for both this mod and BoW. This means anyone can download the files from the internet without having to email and ask Some Important Mod Person (SIMP), while only those with access are allowed to upload changes. If bad changes are made, you can revert to a previous version with just one click. You can even work on the same files in the same time.
I have already started filling small parts of the wiki to show how it could work. Given time, I could start filling in more. You are extremely welcome to start filling in data from this forum or from your hard drives to the wiki. If the all the information is gathered, we are not far away from a releasable mod.
If anyone has parts of or all of the files for the mod, you could email them to me at ripperdoc +at- gmail.com, and I will put it up on the repository and post the details here and at the wiki.
