Is there anyway to reduce the frequency of them happening? I (Iron throne) have controlled most of the Kingdom beyond the wall for 60 years and put down around 100+ revolts and have to keep raised levys there at all times, i have tried to reduce them from happening in the text files but it doesn't seem to change it. It's incredibly annoying and has reached the point where there should be no wildlings left in my land. Besides this i have no problem with the mod its just do they ever stop!?

I have no problem with an uprising every few years, to keep me on my toes, but when its 2-4 a year it just kills it.

Thats how its suppose to be. Don''t even try conquering the wildlings... Last time I tried, I had around 15-20 revolts a year for about 5 years straight until I couldn't stand it anymore and gave them independence. For every one revolt you beat, two more will pop up.

I understand that's how the wildlings are supposed to act within the scope of their lore with any occupation of their land becoming a game of whack a revolt, but i have kept it for nearing 70 years and just want to stop it, is there anyway i can mod it so that they aren't as frequent, i have tried vastly increasing the Mean Time to Happen but there has been no noticeable effect and i don't know how to get the provinces to change culture (in my current game) and religious conversion is a bit of a joke.

You make a fair point in that if you have managed to hold the region for 70 years then it should be fairly pacified. Maybe the devs can include a mechanic for civilizing Beyond the Wall after it is held continuously for a given period of time (50 years?) if they get the chance. It should be fairly hard to achieve however and definitely shouldn't be a major priority.

Agreed. I suspect after decades and hundreds of whack-a-moles people would be more or less subdued, if any of them are still left at all. Some challenging "flavors" akin to colony building (or restoring Harrenhal) should prevent the Wall from becoming the High-ish Fence.

If you force change the culture of the lands the revolts stop.

I had to use the Wildfire decision as the mod removes all culture conversion events but i was able to have the effect being that it converted a random province to Former Southerner (out of all the cultures it was the one which fitted the most).
