I'd like to know if there's anybody here who managed to do...something with the wildlings besides becoming King-beyond-the-wall and conquering aforementioned wall.I started the 7996 scenario and am currently able to field about 8,5k soldiers (that's with the mercenaries) in 8050.The King of the north can field about 36k.I tried using attrition but I still lose.Any tips on conquering the north?

The last I heard you receive an uberblob if you hold the wall for 100 years, good luck holding the wall though.

How did you get a dragon?I once used the character creator to make an awful ruler (as many "-" years as I could) with the dragonrider trait but I'm really curious if you can get one legitimately.

I'm pretty sure you can TRY to tame a wild dragon if you lead an army in any province that contains a wild dragon. At least I am pretty sure I saw someone try (and fail) when I had an army standing in my capital which held some wild dragons. You should be able to test this by travelling to Assai or something (show dragons tell you where to look).

I tried but the tooltip said that I either need to be a relative of the owner of the province with the dragon in it,that I need a dragonrider relative or own the province with the dragon in it.Since none of these applied (and I'm sure the ruler of dragonstone doesn't want to enter into an alliance) I guess I'll have to wait.

Huh the wall is still bugging out for me. So I can't actually conquer it. I tried other ways to get around it. I pressed claims on the stepping stones (the pirate islands) but got bored after that as the wall was still bugging out and the constant slave raids were getting old. Quite funny seeing Tyrosh sending 10k troops north of the wall and getting squashed.

Ruler creator. Homosexual, Legitimized Bastard, Cruel, Lunatic. Should give you quite a few points to play with.
