I was just wondering when/if console will be getting a no end date option like PC because it doesn’t really give you enough time to conquer as much as you can. When I start off and a petty king in Ireland it takes a while to take over other counties and kingdoms

Hopefully yes as is one of the things that I miss the most from our edition. Demand it frequently around the forum and maybe Paradox takes notice. We deserve an unlimited playthrough as much as PC users, even if the game becomes more boring during later play time it gives us even more possibilities.

It would be a good addition, however remember that coding a game on console is absolutely terribly difficult, and that Paradox actually uses a Middleman studio on the Console versions, explaining the big time differences between PC and Console Updates. This option is probably not their priority, seing the nearly 2 years of difference, and that, as someone already says, would be pretty useless since every Console, even the Last Gen ones, have got poor performance after 1300-1350 Gameplay and nearly no one will ever reach 1453

I would not say that coding on console is more difficult than on PC, XBOX and PS5 uses slightly customized zen 2 cpu and RDNA2 GPU with GDDR6 memory, on PC you have hundreds of different configurations you must make your code to work.
