Win 7/new computer problem

Downloaded HoI-Arm and 1.2 to a new Win 7 laptop, install proceeded normally but whenever I try to start the game I get an HoI error message "install latest milestone". Sound familiar?

FWIW, I did the same download to my Win 7 desktop and there were no such issues and the game runs normally.

try to reinstall the game in a location outside of c:\program files....

Nope, put it in it's own folder on c:\ but get the same message

First install DD

Then install Arma inside the DD folder.
