[Windows 10] Corrupted Game State

Hello,

Every time I try to start a new campaign (Singleplayer), by the time I get to the rules menu, my game state becomes corrupted. The achievements box indicates that my check-sum is modified. When I exit to the main menu the 'multiplayer' menu entry to blacked out and when I hover over it says that my game state is corrupted. I play CK2 for achievements, so this pretty much breaks the game for me. I do not have any mods active.

I have done the following:

• Verify files on steam
• Deleted all saves (I had a corrupted save previously so I thought I might as well get rid of em all)
  
• Delete & Unsubscribe all mods
• Re-install the game

On totally fresh install this is still happening.

The only thing new on my system since I last played are the updated AMD GFX Card drivers, version 19.12.2. This is a major release by AMD so perhaps it is causing issues?

Edit: Fixed. Had to go through and delete every CK2 related file.

FYI this is normal and by design. It is to force MP players (who may have disconnected from a running game) to exit and rerun the game, which clears game memory and MP connections.

Glad you sorted out the core issue though!
