I originally had HoI2 on a vista machine, and it automatically stretched out to fill my entire 1680x1050 monitor. I understand the only supported resolution for hoi2 is small, so I don't know how that happened. Now I have a fresh Windows 7 install now, and DD will only in its really small default size, and I want to know if there is a way to get it back to full screen. 4:3 is just too annoying and hard to use.

Has nothing to do with the game; this is a setting in either your graphics driver or the BIOS (some laptops also have a function key for it).

Same problem for me, it was wide screen then reverted after my windows 7 upgrade
