WinXP problems EU II, not loading updates

Are using WinXP and EU II, scandinavian version. Have downloaded v. 1.04. As another player experienced on EU I, the computer promts that: "The game is not installed on the PC". In other words, the update fil do not find the game, even thought I am playing it. With help of my support service we have removed some protection both on virus detection and firewall, without any result. Can anyon give us a hand?

Maybe the patch file is corrupted try downloading it again just to be sure... if the problem persists I am at a loss.

I read somewhere that EU II is not compatible with WIN XP at all ... or was this solved in v1.04?

should be scandinavian EU2, because I have US EU2 and XP and no problem, I wait to have someday Spanish version of EU2 too, UBi release it now as promise or preapre you to be destroyed!

My EUII seems compatible with XP. Sure, it has occasional CTD (sometimes more than occasional), but no more than it did when I was using Win ME a month ago.

are you sure you are using the correct patch? You need the 1.04 NORDIC patch.
