Euphrates and Tigris missing

I have seen several maps on this forum and none of them showed Tigris and Euphrates rivers. And you know, they are REALLY big rivers. Is this a bug?

The Crusader Kings map is based on the Europa Universalis map, which doesn't have the Tigris or Euphrates either. Like with previous Paradox game maps, any problems with the map will not be corrected. Read the stickies in this forum, especially the one titled "Do not report map errors."

as far as we know, the map drawing will not change in CK, ever. There are certain changes that could be made though, like province ownership or province culture at the begining of a scenario. But you have to have a very strong backed-up case with evidences

Well, i believe they are big enough rivers to be by themselves a strong case. I don't need to stress their importance here. At least during the crusades they have claimed the lives of two emperors; Seldjuk and German, both drowned with their armors.

However, if they are not able to fix it in a patch due to technical incapacity, i hope they fix it in the next Paradox game.

If you mean with German emperor Frederick Barbarossa?

Well he didn't drown in the Euphrates. He died at the river Calycadnus. This river isn't in the game either.

Also how he died is very unclear.
