First the niceboring bits.
Difficulty Normal
IC tech team capture off
Full IC Takeover off.

Oh yay yet another German AAR- boring. Why will I call this the worst German AAR ever?

Goal. Lose the game- as Germany.

Thats right the goal of this game is to lose. Thats not that hard, any idiot can lose right. However this AAR will try and duplicate the real WW2 as much as possable, subject to the AIs stupidity. My goal is to have the Soviets crash into Berlin around April/May 1945. I will also try and fight the historical battles as best as I can as some of them wil be out of my control due to the AI, and I will try and raise a similar amount of divisiosn for the right time.
I will also try and throw away similar amount of divisions at the right time. Eg Stalingrad let them get cut off and have the flanks guarded by Romanian units.

All countries will be invaded on their historical dates. I'll try and get the Axis countries in more or less around the time they historically joined, but seem to have issues around getting Romania for example into the Axis.

Barbarossa will be launched on June 22, but I can't control when the Allies will invade Italy or France so I may have to encourage them by leaving beaches undefended near the right dates. I'll also ignore techs Germany didn't historically research, and try and build the right amount of ships (Bismarck/Tirpitz etc). Rommel will also be sent to Africa with the DAK, although they may be ahistorically large depending on how many divisons the English throw into the mix etc.

No IC whoring until 42/43 (German production peaked in 44), nor importing large amounts of oil from Venezuela. No mass upgrades to jet aircraft.

Zeldar Thanx for the "well" wishes.

Lighthearter Yeah I'm gonna have to deliberately play badly to dupicate Germany's losses. I suspect the hard part will be sustaining the war for that long, while mirroring German's defeats.

According a a book I finished reading last week Germany traded with the neutrals alot. No trading with the USSR before the MR pact, no Venezuelan oil.

Spain, Portugal, Italy, Bulgaria, Yugoslavia, Turkey, Sweden, Finland, Romania, Japan and Hungary will be the main tradining partners. Historiacally Germany did stockpile resources though, and trading with the French/USA/UK will be fine as well.

War on the USA will be decleared Dec 10 41, regardless of Japanese atack on Pearl Harbour.

This should be good. :)

Remember to park 30divisions at Stalingrad and let the Sov encircle them and left with no supplies to rot and be destroyed. You also need to leave a string of undefended provinces towards the target you want Soviet to achieve all the way to Berlin! The AI needs all the help! :D

Already planed for. Technically the Germans may actually win Stalingrad in this game (rgo I capture the city), but yeah I'll have to see how many divisons I can lose.

Oops complete a-historically fast. Oh well, nevermind. Advanced rocket instalations ready at Penemunde

Werner Von Braun decides to research rocket engines.
ScreenSave58-2.jpg

And completes them less than one month later. That was quick. By now the Republicans won the Spanish civil war and Austria and the Sudetenland have joined the Reich.
ScreenSave59-1.jpg

Love me some rocket sites. Turbojet engines ready. The Czechs also decide to join the Reich. Option B was swift anhilation.

Due to Polish stubborness over reasonable demands regarding Danzig, Germany is force to defend itself.
ScreenSave53-2.jpg

The Graf Spee under Captain Langsdorff commences surface raiding with the outbreak of the war. A date with destiny perhaps?
ScreenSave54-2.jpg

A few days in and the invasion is doing slightly better than it was IRL. Oh well I'm not perfect m'kay.
ScreenSave56-2.jpg

losing as germany?
now THAT is a hard task :D

good luck

The remnants of Poland, cut into little pockets.
ScreenSave58-3.jpg

German forces storm Warsaw, outnumbered and surrounded theres no hope for the Poles.
ScreenSave60-2.jpg

The Soviets honour their part of the M/R Pact.
ScreenSave61-4.jpg

Meanwhile at sea the Scharnhorst and Gneisenau commence raiding operations in the Faeroe Gap. After a few days they retire back to Kiel.
ScreenSave62-2.jpg

The Poles accept the German terms of surrender.
ScreenSave63-1.jpg

The Graf Spee manages to sink something. A few more weeks and she manages to avoid here destiny, not being sunk off Uruguay. She returns to port for repairs.
ScreenSave64-1.jpg

The Graf Spee continues her adventures, defeating a small British naval force.
ScreenSave65-2.jpg

Destiny is a bitch. What can I say. A few weeks late.

great adventure ))

Zeldar155 Yes there will a battle of the Atlantic. I'm slowly increasing the production of submarines and naval bombers. Once France falls alot of resources will be used to build more ports. Load up the Germany 44 scenario to get a rough idea what I'm on about. Also have to build Festung Europe.

Souldking the Republicans did win the SCW in this game. While ahistorial a German invasion may be possable if I need to get Romel to Africa and I need to get transports to Italian ports.

For the most part I'll try and keep it historical. The Battle of the Atlantic migh be different as I have just knowcked out Norway without losing a single ship, even after I broke the Kriegsmarin down into historical fleets used. I'll do the channel dash and I have the Bismarck and Tirpitz ready as well. They're staying in port until the historical dates. I'll just add brigdes to them before they sail, then all bets are off in regards to history.

The game seems hardcoded for an early Denmark/Norway invasion. A month early over the historical event but W/E. +1 Dove wasn't an option.

Denmark caves very quickly after paratroops seize airfields.
ScreenSave69-1.jpg

Amphibious and aerial assaults capture. Further along the coast the Kriegsmarine drops of troops. Initial naval assaults on Narvik are beaten back.
No sign of the Royal Navy. Kriegsmarine suffers no casualties.
ScreenSave73-1.jpg

Narvik is assaulted again, but with support from the south and Luftwaffe bombers striking the defenders. After a battle lasting several hours Narvik falls. Garrison troops are rushed in while paratroops are rushed to the western front. Isolated Allied troops remain in the vicinity of Narvik.
