The title is self explanatory (and was inspired by this thread http://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/showthread.php?773481-Worst-ideas-for-HOI-4). What would be the worst ideas to experiment on Victoria 3? Here's mine:
- Always on internet connection required or the game won't ever work
- Britain as the only playable nation (you have to buy all of the other individual, releasable, and formable nations as DLCs ($5-15 each depending on size))
-If you form as another country and you haven't bought the DLC, it's a game over
- Pop system not being there (with EU IV's culture system instead)
- DLC that ends the game immediately
- Malware and/or Trojan being on the download file
- Vicky 3 being an Xbone (or Dreamcast) exclusive
- EA working on the game instead of Paradox
- Kinect integration
- Paid subscription to play both Single and Multiplayer
- Replacing the 2 with a 3 and selling the game
- Making Victoria 3 only available on Uplay
- Removing colonization
- Being spammed with ads while playing Victoria 3
- Formatting the game in DOS without the ability to use a mouse
- Integrating Google's copyright system into the game (if the game thinks what you put is copyright, you get banned from the game)
Any more ideas?

-Adding the Byzantine Empire as formable nation.
-Monarch Points that also control the economy, meaning that, even if you control the 99% of the wordl's supply of food, nobody will buy anything unless you spend Diplomatic points.
-"Deep Sea Rising" DLC where Lovercraftian creatures go on and destroy half of Europe.
-Railroaded history even when converting, meanign that, even if France was a OPM in an EUIV game, if you convert, it will somehow have a huge boost in everything, until it turns into what was in those years. Or that if Germany is formed into EUIV, if converted, it will be immediately destroyed by Nationalsit rebels for no reason but "Historical Status Quo."
-Immigration mechanics stright from Victoria 2.
-Units recrutied not only in number of Soldeir POP, but also in terms of training, specialization etc.

-Disallowing you to rename brigades and ships (they did this in Vicky2)

-Overpowered Russia steamrolling entire of Asia.

-Chinese live happily under rule of foreigners who colonize them, and even join their armies in millions to help them conquer others. (seriously, anyone who gains a province in China in Vicky2 could recruit entire armies there and use them everywhere, without facing any hostility or revolts)

-EUIV level of blandness.

- To gain a casus belli on a non-westernized minor in Africa and Asia, you have to wait 10 years with 75% discovery chance and get 25 infamy when that happens.

- Truce times last a decade.

- Game has many weird and completely nonsensical pathetic restrictions and limitations for no apparent reason (not even present in other PDS games), just like Victoria II.

- No army order of battle, regiments, corps, divisions, or any semblence of military organization system is present in the game. You are forced to fight the massive world wars the same way you are fighting a 14th century war in EU4 with just brigades/regiments. (sigh...again like in Victoria II)

-3D map
-Monarch Points
-General abstracted historical elements and not simulated ones
-Instead of reading "British Africa" or "British Canada," it just says "Britain."

-EU3 naval battle system.
-Goddamn DICE ROLLS!

- Launch Vicky 3 is just a straight port of Vicky 2 into the new 3D engine with almost no changes/balances
- Every action now costs monarch points which are entirely dependent on RNG
- Coalitions are introduced to prevent the player from blobbing. They only work because warscore magic require you to beat the entire coalition to get 2-3 provinces.
- If you go over the infamy limit you will get spammed with "Jackals! Vultures!" events which will spawn more rebels than ever existed in history to prevent player blobbing.
- Every nation now gets unique national idea bonuses to represent their role in history. Germany, UK, and USA get ridiculously broken ones while everybody else gets garbage.
- Lucky nations are introduced, giving historically important nations further bonuses to ensure they become dominant. Mostly Germany, UK, and USA.

-Sunset Invasion dlc: Aztecs come down from their giant space canoes that they built after contacting aliens and invade the whole planet.
-Adding the Byzantine Empire as formable nation.
-"Deep Sea Rising" DLC where Lovercraftian creatures go on and destroy half of Europe.
These are all in the wrong thread. Must be in "best ideas for vicky 3" thread.

Reactions:
-"In her image", where you see everything in game from a stereotypical British point of view.
-Lizardman conspiracy mode; play as a major lizard nation or uncover the Lizard conspiracy as Kalat, Aceh, or Sokoto.
-Uses an exact copy of the CK2 interface since "it was successful"
-Game is only available at VGA resolution
-"Endgame", where every other nation declares war on you once you become too powerful.

-"In her image", where you see everything in game from a stereotypical British point of view.

Have you played Victoria II?

-Lizardman conspiracy mode; play as a major lizard nation or uncover the Lizard conspiracy as Kalat, Aceh, or Sokoto.

Another one more fitting for "Best ideas for vicky 3" :p

Reactions:
ability to zoom map to see lives of every single person on the planet along with their unique personalities!
if you don't have 500 TB of RAM and 5000 core CPU then screw you you filthy console peasant!

-Feminist Invasions DLC: Plays like the Zombie Mod. Between 1880-1910 rabid Militant Feminist Militias armed with rolling pins rise up in every Conservative/Reactionary country and easily crushes the Male based national armies.

-Time Traveling Nazi Invasions DLC: France fails immediately regardless of size and the "Superior Ayran Racetm" takes over and works to conquer everything. The invasions start from Prussia every time.

- Making Victoria 3 only available on Uplay

Making Victoria 3 only available on a Paradox Only Distributer network

-"In her image", where you see everything in game from a stereotypical British point of view.

This is actually one of the best things in Victoria II. True Art.

This one is actually a strategy game. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uiZNtTLAwz8
