Just curious, I have seen a couple different 'request' threads pass through and I have a couple ideas myself that I doubt I could pull off.

Is it best to leave them to be treated by one off discussions or would a central collection point make sense?

I see a subforum for suggestions, but saw that for the game itself. I was asking about a player built buildings/assets... a targeted modding suggestion/request thread.
