@Chilango2 hasn't taken home this award for about two and a half years so definitely overdue for this recognition.
Definitely and congratulations! Looking forward to your pick.

Last catch up (I think). Belated congrats to @Silverio90 and the absent @MoonShine-Star . On time congratulations to @Chilango2 , it was a surprise to see something from OT win but having just read through all of it I can see why it won. Well deserved so congratulations indeed.

Thank you again for the congratulations.

It now falls to me to execute the solemn duty and honor of passing this on.

Now, I have, in my time, read various AAR's in various styles, but it is rare that from the moment I open an AAR its execution interests and fascinates me, and when I went into the author's inkwell I saw that they have produced quite a body of AAR's, each demonstrating this AAR's craft.

Even better, from my perspective at least, is that this WritAAR has never gained this particular honor and so I have the pleasure of giving them their first.

As such, it is my honor to pass this on to @Kashked , their recently started A Song to Herald Gehenna (Princes of Darkness) is what caught my eye, but if you visit their inkwell you will find many other worthy works.

Damn... double whammy, both WritAAR and Showcase in the same week. So now I have to find two separate things to pass on. :p

Thanks a lot for the nomination, and any and all congrats, too.

A Song to Herald Gehenna is, somewhat, my attempt to write in the style of Robert Anton Wilson, although he didn't do much in my preferred first-person perspective, he has that chaotic aspect to his writing. I'd recommend the Illuminatus Trilogy, which takes place in a world, actually a multiverse, where all conspiracy theories are true. Even the ones that contradict each other. It's a rather unique piece of literature, think Hitchhikers guide to the Galaxy, but grimdark and R-rated.

He's also written some political and philosophical works, such as "TSOG: The Thing that ate the Constitution", amongst other. They are... interesting. It was the 60's, man. Probably only of interest to cultural anthropologists and philosophy-nerd though. ;)

Now, having completed a mega-campaign myself, I know the commitment it takes. And while my chosen successor have actually already been awarded this award before, two times no less, for this very campaign, he/she has kept going an interesting campaign since the summer of 2022, an campaign that not only have dodged the pitfalls common to mega-campaigns and managed to keep the save compatible and convertible, but have also kept an interesting historical narrative going with extensive worldbuilding, and have recently moved into the third game of the campaign, Victoria 3. So having received WritAAR of the Week earlier for both the CK3-part and the EU4-part it is now time to receive it for the promise of an equally interesting Vic3-entry.

Therefore my chosen WritAAR of the Week will be @Bfc kfc who a couple of weeks ago posted what will be The Pyrenean Century - (Jewish Alps - A Paradox Megacampaign AAR - Part3 - Victoria 3)

I shall admit I haven't read the campaign in it's entirety, only parts of it so far, but the premise of the world as it have turned out have piqued my interest and while the entries for the Vic3-part of the campaign are being written I will go back and orient myself in the world. It is also worth recognising the "behind-the-scenes"-work that goes on in such a mega-campaign to keep the world and it's narrative interesting over the centuries.

Wow! Thank you all so much! Indeed, it takes much commitment, and when you develop during those years it is even more eminent where you changed. I plan to finish my other AAR after this one, but I want this to be my magnum opus. To me this is a huge reward. Thank you all and thank you @Kashked for the nomination!

For me trying to construct a story around the world I'm building is very important. I want to make a world that feels real like as ours, somethinng which could've come about naturally. Even if hours of modding and changes are needed, it is worth it for the story.
