Its that time of the week again.

So many writAARs to choose from, but there can be only one. This weeks WoW is nominated for his three efforts, all I believe are BETA AARs.

His first is a popular account of Britain's Finest Hour, where his game strategy is described in full. Discover the real beginnings of British Airways as his 'elite' parachute force, 'Sleazy' company are transported throughout the world on planes?!

In this version of events, the UK takes a defensive strategy, later taking an offensive stance when tech is at acceptable levels. Read about many aspects of the game, including research strategy, election events, coup attempts, the capitualtion of Western Europe, the halting of Italian domination of the MED, the seizure of France, the liberation and subsequent fall of Vichy France and Japanese invasion of Burma, right through to the final
victory.

In short this AAR contains a very useful strategy if you want play as UK, that is relevant, even in v1.05c.

His comic AAR We'll all live in a nuclear submarine!! , is a short a funny account of German inital play that has Rommel leading the Mountain Goat Brigade!! Worth a quick look at if you have ten minutes to spare.

His final piece of work in the H.o.I arena is a dedication, to playing Japan, A Navy with an Empire - Banzai !! . A solid not too brief and not too long narrative on playing as Japan. Possile World situation is described in full as well as the Japanese strategy for successful conquest. Three really well written AARs.

With that said, join me in Smurfily congratulating this weeks nominated Writer of the Week, BiB!!

Sir, please step forward and introduce yourself to the H.o.I public!

Congrats.

ha! we all know that BiB doesn´t write this things on his own, but rather lets it write by his horde of smurfs. or how do you think one can achieve such a massive post count and write such excellent aars?

:)

If he wrote half as much as he posted (according to his count) he would win a Pulitzer.

Congratulations.

Hey, BiB! Thou deservest this! Congratulations!
:D

*the crowd eagerly awaits BiB to make a speech about himself*

Just for the record, I would like to point out that the order in which they appeared was : Japan - UK - Germany, all beta ones.

The UK one was very enjoyable, best HOI game I ever had, also the only game I finished. Glad to hear other people enjoyed it too.

The Japan one was one of the first beta ones so there was lots of interest for that one and it was fun having all those people hanging onto my lips just to try and pick up a game feature :D

The Germany one, well, was just fun to write, can't say it played very enjoyable though, sadly that also would account for it not getting finished ...

Haven't played HoI in a while, with Victoria coming out (and being in beta), I should really, it's quite a fun game, even though I am a EU man.

Not really an AAR man either unless it is to inform the masses about beta games or it is a wide scale MP game. For interested AAR fans, see this one : http://www.europa-universalis.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=88821

Oh yes, I am 4'3'', have a slightly blue complexion, like history and post a lot. I also am ur friendly neighbourhood admin and really out of ideas of what to write. Oh, and thanx :D

You forgot to mention the floppy white hat... :)
