This weeks H.o.I WritAAR of the Week is the author of his own brand of comical AAR.

His AARs blend a strange appreciation for the surreal and downright absurb and the inclusion of forum members in his game's hotspots, (including yours truly,) in some of the funniest stories to grace the HoI LibrAARy.

In his latest work, this WoW timetravels back to 1936 to head up the defense of Czechoslovakia. Upon arrving he coups the country and takes over has the new dic... er I mean Head of State.

Read as he uses his Mr. Peanuts stuffed elephant aid to gain the upper hand. Then plays a game of checkers to be allowed to join the Allies. Witness tanks that fall apart when hit by a rock, pogo stick cavalry and
the Scary Antartican Penguins!!! All this while keeping us updated with text based screenshots!

:eek: This is such an unexpected pleasure! I had no idea! (Pulls out a typed and bound book of names to thank) I would like to thank the guy who invented the computer, Al Gore 'Inventor of the Internet', Paradox, spell check, my agent, all the wonderful fans.....


Seriously though guys, i find it a great honor to be given this among the ranks of such (in my humble opinion) great AAR writers. Big thanks to all those who read and post in my AARs. Its for you that i write them.

boo hiss? Humph

Anyway, that nomination came on one of the best days of the year so far for me. I woke up to that, then had an awesome review of my final project for college (i believe 'shimmers of brilliance' is a direct quote :D ) then made a once in a lifetime shot of frisbeeing an 12"x6"x.5" cash bag through a 14"x6"x3" box from 15 feet away :D

Alittle bit aboutthe AARs; The german nation is my first work, and in my opinion, not my best. Russia came next and its in this one where i got the idea to use an intereacitve AAR. People post and I put them in the AAR. I got he idea from Satcho where they made cameos, but i turned them into main characters.

My czech AAR came next, and while i think its the funniest, its also lacking in screenshots (I have been writing it during my very hecktick semmester) I still think its a great read.

With that AAR winding down, im considering a FOURTH AAR involving Italy. This one WILL involve screenshots, hopefull lots of them. We'll see what the interest is. If you are interested in being a character, post here, PM me, or wait till i make my first new AAR post

I wholeheartedly agree, great work Exterous, we need humour like yours in times like these. :D (And by times like these I mean Christmas... *shudder*)
