This week we shine the spotlight on a young man from Germany who has written two fascinating AARs, so far: Zanza. His first AAR was Kodo - The Imperial Way (Japan 1936 AAR). The game began well but ended prematurely due to a computer crash (hate those computer crashes!)

His current game, also set in Japan is War in Asia (Japan 1936 AAR with CORE 0.61 is a much more substantial effort. This is a wonderful and rich AAR with pictures, screenies and very detailed descriptions. It reads like a novel to my eyes.

So, Zanza, step up to the spotlight and tell your tale!

Congratulations.

Arigato!

Wow, I did not expect this. Thank you for the honour.

As Stroph1 already stated, I am from Germany, which also means that English is not my native tongue. I started to write the AARs as a way to improve on my written English. My first attempt was stopped due to said inconvenience with my computer, but I like the style of the new one better anyway. I recycled a few sentences though…

Well, as it is the purpose to introduce oneself here, I will do so. I am twenty-two years old. I am a student at Münster University, aiming at a degree in Information Systems (a mix between business administration and computer science) My interests are history (duh!), especially the Weimar Republic and its demise, football (playing, not watching ;-), programming and I am an avid reader of science-fiction.

Congratulations Zanza. very good AAR. yes.
