Wrong Province ID, election event(?)

Caught a Revolutions event that targeted Maryland and "Far East" while playing as the US. Believe it was an election event, but couldn't find it in the history log

Excuse me for being vague, but I've been up 30+ hours and am kind of sleepwalking through my first Revolutions game.

Was this one of the US-specific events on slavery, or was it a general election event?
