Wrong textures/CoA

So, about 8 months ago, I had a problem with the Saxon cavalry's shield textures being wonky and looking like this:

That never got resolved, even after a clean install and attempting to delete the registry. After coming back to CK2, I wanted to play an Umayyad campaign for an EU4 carry-over, but then I ran into this:


I thought this might be an Umayyad thing, but then I when I saw the Abbasids, this popped up:

So...how do I fix this/these issues after 8 months? I could see the Umayyads and Abbasids being weird because of their CoAs being unique, but what about the Saxon Cavalry one? Kinda takes me out of the immersion having wonky textures :/

I'd suggest you update that thread in Bug Reports, and tag @[Arthur-PDX] in it to get his attention again.

If you feel this is the same bug, then you should add this new case info there too.

Thank you, Andrew, but that bug was never resolved, and no one from Paradox, or the community, could really solve the problem. I think these might be two unrelated issues, one due to Muslim CoAs and whatever was bothering the Saxon Unit pack. I tried a complete uninstall, and deleting registry keys within steam (the traditional C:/Program Files/ Paradox Entertainment destination doesn't pop-up in my registry), but that didn't work. Which Arthur should I be tagging? There's no Arthur-PDX in the dropdown list.
