Been searching for problems on the xbox edition, and came across this forum/thread.

This has been exactly my issue today. Since the update, I've not been able to play the game. Regardless of loading an existing game or trying to start a new game, I get most of the way to loading the game and then it simply freezes. Can't do anything else.

I've uninstalled and reinstalled the game, and deleted all previous saved games and then uninstalled/reinstalled again (just to see, not really expecting anything to change...)

Not sure what's going on, but the xbox (my xbox, at least) did not like that game update. Not at all.

Note there is a worldwide problem with XBox Live, nothing to do with this game

The issue City Scott is referring to isnt the Xbox Live issue because I was having the Xbox Live issue and the game wouldnt load at all (couldnt get to the main menu where it ask you to press A)

Xbox Live is working again, for me anyways, and I can load the games main menu but the issue is when you click load game the loading screen comes up to load your game but it gets stuck around 90% and never loads.

Everything on my Xbox was working fine before I downloaded the new update and now it gets to 90% and that's it.

Tried starting a new city and loading two previously used cities.... NOTHING.

All other Xbox Live games are working fine.

And I've missed an entire night of streaming.

I would have no clue what the cause of this issue could be but I do know that not everyone has this issue. I'm able load my game and use everything just fine on my Xbox One. The only thing that confused me is why unlimited money got disabled in pre existing saves. I found out a while after that you have to save again and then load it to enable unlimited money, all milestones unlocked, etc.

No, it was not related to that. The game wasn't playing before the xbox live problem...during that issue, I couldn't get into the game at all

This morning, after the xbox live problem, I can get back into the game but, yet again, can't fully load a new map or saved game.

I see that there is a new season pass and a new mode that I'd love to pay for and crack on with, but my game has been rendered absolutely useless as things stand. Your response suggests to me that the developers aren't aware of any issue, and as such aren't working to fix any issue?

That's a little concerning. I mean, life will go on and all that, but I'd still prefer it if I could continue to play I game I have paid for.

There is a pinned post about issues with this update where there are official updates and even two things to try that fixed things for other players. Have you tried to read that thread and try what they propose?

That thread, I'm sure, wasn't there when I originally posted over in this one!!

Thank you for pointing it out. Although a temporary fix, I'm sure, what they proposed did actually resolve the main issue I was facing. Cheers
