I know you know about this problem which has been there since release, a month ago !!! To say I'm annoyed is an understatement. Why isn't anything being done to rectify the issues? It is getting beyond a joke

I have the same issue. you think they would add a border setting in the game, it would be a lot easier to know if I need industrial areas!
I have given up waiting and had a full refund from Microsoft. I spoke to Paradox last week and they didn't seem particularly bothered that the screen still isn't viewable. They even told me that the last patch had fixed it, which is complete rubbish. I bought it on day of release and had patiently waited for nearly 2 months.
I changed my TVs screen size from "16:9" to "screen fit" and now I can see everything.
Did you guys try that? I was so scared from not being able to read messages or the inspect info!

I tried absolutely everything I could. Developers couldn't give a stuff so myself and a few of my friends (all having the same problem) got a full refund from Microsoft. Used the money to buy Aven Colony, much better game and far more to do in it.
