Is there an ETA on a fix for the repeated crashing occurring since the newest update? I'm experiencing the same issues a lot of other users are (random crashing seemingly with no direct cause in-game, guaranteed crashing at expansion planner menu among others) and it has essentially made Stellaris unplayable for me and as acknowledged here in the forum, the recent hotfix did nothing to help with these problems.

In addition, is this something I can assume will be fixed for sure? I would guess this isn't an issue of my base model Xbox One not being able to handle the new update since it's handled all others no problem and it is something that can be reversed, but with my recent experiences with crashing bugs in Civ VI that have apparently persisted for years, I'd really like to know for sure. If this isn't something that can be committed to with a reasonable timeframe, I'd like to know so that I can pursue a refund for the newest expansions. At this point, I've paid $35 to break my game, which has otherwise worked flawlessly for me for 2 years.

Open a ticket with the support team they'll actually do more to help you then can be done in the forum. It is likely something to do with your base console but likely there is another problem as well.

um some of those crashes have already been fixed, there was a dev post about it last week I think on Thursday

make sure your game is up to date, and if you are still getting these crashes on both old and new game saves, then as HMS Brooks recommended, open a support ticket, because you shouldn't be experiencing some of these crashes after the hotfix went live

Here let me save everyone the trouble they will say " its a bug in the game" and their is "nothing they can do" ....

I have opened 3 tickets for bugs (3 separate occasions pre and post last patch) and was advised to post on the forums. So opening a support ticket doesn't seem to be the way to log issues. its been 1.5 months since I have been able to play a game from beginning to end. very disappointing.

yeah that's about par for the course
the support line is mainly for the pc side of their games, since they don't always directly port their games to console

in this case Tantalus is doing the console port for Stellaris, so any reports would need to be placed in the console bug report section

It's still crashing white often. Especially in multiplayer. Opening Expansion Manager when game is not paused crashes the game for client.
this is sadly known
it was thought to have been fixed with the last hotfix, but it seems to still happen

there's also people encountering other crashes/issues with no real rhyme or reason behind them, but any info you can provide if your game games in a bug report is helpful

ladydzra has been really helpful in gathering the info and sending it off to the team to try and figure out what is going on
